Following the success of the This is Derby celebration event, in autumn 2019 S.H.E.D hit the road as part of a schools tour – This is Derby: Reimagine. Working with Derby Theatre, Derby QUAD, Hubbub, Baby People, Sinfonia Viva, Déda, East Midlands Caribbean Carnival Arts Network, Artcore and more, activities were curated to take place in, on and around S.H.E.D. Aimed at increasing access for children to essential life skills, over 1,350 children in Derby were engaged in arts, theatre and music activities, movement sessions exploring fairy tales and carnival arts making sessions.
